Tutoring is delivered by our on-site academic experts led by head teacher Sofia Ferreyro Mazieres (OCT, B.A (Hons), B.Ed, M.A. PhD Candidate).

Currently a PhD Candidate in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development at the University of Toronto, Sofia commits herself to the ongoing development of students and ensures that they will be the best that they can be. With a Master of Arts degree in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning, five years of practicum experience through the Concurrent Education program at Queen’s University as well as various teaching experiences, in several private schools, France, Spain, Italy, online and through the Simcoe County District School Board, she is confident that her academic background and curriculum development skills will help your child gain academic confidence and succeed.

Her goal as a teacher is to provide her students with life learning skills and bring forth a restless drive for answers and insight. She is passionate about teaching and she easily becomes a role model in her students’ lives, since they treat her with respect and value her approachability because of her constant focus on their needs.
